Consumer prices as measured by CPI were unchanged in November. The U.S. Labor department reported that that CPI was flat in November in line with market expectations. Core CPI rose 0.2%. A drop in energy costs helped saved consumers more money at the gas pump and kept a tab on overall price increases. Food prices increased 0.1% in the last month. Overall rent has increased 1.8% and medical costs increased a whopping 2.3% in the last twelve months.
