At the close of U.S. trade, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.07%, the S&P 500 index gained 0.01%, while the Nasdaq 100 index climbed 0.12%.
Meanwhile, across the Atlantic, European stock markets were mixed at close. France’s CAC 40 was up 0.03%; Germany’s DAX gained 0.18%; Britain’s FTSE 100 climbed 1.02%; and the EURO STOXX 50 fell 0.00%.
