Forexpros – U.S. stocks were up after the closing bell on Monday.
At the close of U.S. trade, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.65%, the S&P 500 index gained 1.03%, while the Nasdaq 100 index climbed 1.08%.
Meanwhile, across the Atlantic, European stock markets closed higher. France’s CAC 40 was up 1.15%; Germany’s DAX gained 0.42%; Britain’s FTSE 100 climbed 0.28%; and the EURO STOXX 50 rose 1.15%.
