Forexpros – U.S. stocks were up after the closing bell on Tuesday.
At the close of U.S. trade, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.84%, the S&P 500 index gained 1.17%, while the Nasdaq 100 index climbed 1.22%.
Meanwhile, across the Atlantic, European stock markets closed higher. France’s CAC 40 was up 1.28%; Germany’s DAX gained 0.55%; Britain’s FTSE 100 climbed 1.03%; and the EURO STOXX 50 rose 1.20%.
