Forexpros – U.S. stocks were up after the closing bell on Friday.
At the close of U.S. trade, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 2.31%, the S&P 500 index gained 1.88%, while the Nasdaq 100 index climbed 1.29%.
Meanwhile, across the Atlantic, European stock markets closed higher. France’s CAC 40 was up 2.83%; Germany’s DAX gained 3.55%; Britain’s FTSE 100 climbed 1.93%; and the EURO STOXX 50 rose 2.89%.
