Alcoa’s report showed profit, but was less than expected.
Chevron warned its fourth quarter would be sharply lower.
The holiday season was not a particularly good one, so expect this earnings season to be a rough one and shake the confidence of the markets. This is likely to lead to corrections, i.e. USD and JPY strength.
