The French Consumer Price Index (CPI) measures the changes in the price of goods and services purchased by consumers.
A higher than expected reading should be taken as positive/bullish for the EUR, while a lower than expected reading should be taken as negative/bearish for the EUR.
USD/CHF Fundamental Analysis February 13, 2012, Forecast
Analysis and Recommendations:
The USD/CHF trading at 0.9180, with the USD showing continued strength. The dollar remains up even with the weight of two weak reports. The US Trade Balance missed forecast and Consumer Sentiment fell today.
But news that the Greek budget deficit had increased and that the current bailout austerity program was not enough to fill the gap and the EU insisting that Greece must find ways to come up with all the funds required in the original proposal, problems are starting to form and the word, default is echoing louder.
This pair moved as the dollar vs. the euro moved today.
