Analysis and Recommendation: (close of Asian session)

The USD/JPY is trading at 80.25. The dollar has picked up a bit of strength, but markets still remain worried about Friday’s Non Farms Payroll report.

Stories leaked yesterday, say that the BoJ intervened in currency trading, to push the USD back over the 80.00 price level.

The BoJ recently increased its asset buying program to help stabilize the economy. The recent market turmoil and worries over US eco data have been pushing investors to the safety of the yen while the greenback continues to sink.
