Warren Buffett’s Shareholders Meeting
I was one of 40,000 people who was in Omaha during the weekend to see what Buffett had to say. He showed a lot of positive information about Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A, BRK.B) as well as the economy. He and Charlie Munger have a humorous way of presenting the information to the shareholders.
Most of the companies were present at the shareholders meeting and it was like a shopping festival with all of the deals that were offered to shareholders. Overall, Berkshire Hathaway has been able to go and purchase the preferred shares so that there is a guaranteed return on the investment so the shareholders will win all of the time. This time we heard how high the income was instead of why the returns were negative like last year.
