Can promotions make a stock climb up? If we judge by WebSafety, Inc. (OTC:WBSI), the answer is positive. Besides, it is not WBSI_chart3.pngthe first time it’s been confirmed.

WBSI got the up move a couple of days ago, and yesterday the stock price jumped up 15%. The gain was registered just after WBSI was promoted by willywizard for the compensation of $5.000, paid by an unknown promoter. The campaign immediately pumped up the stock price and WBSI got the climb.

In fact, that is not the first time WebSafety has been promoted this month. According to the records, a total compensation of $34.500 has been paid for promotions in March and every time the campaign was on, WBSI has hit the gain.

Besides, along with the promotions, the company has released good news on its activities. The latest announcement by WBSI came up two days ago, when it reported that AAA Northwest Ohio was extending a WebSafety program. Apparently, this news re-ensured the stock price and the climb continued, yet not certain for how long this time.

WebSafety, Inc. focuses on marketing, selling, and distributing a range of Internet software applications and services for computers and cell phones globally. Its quarterly report shows that as of 30 September, 2010 the company had more assets than liabilities, however, the accumulated deficit exceeded $5.4 million. Apart from these facts, the stockholders’ equity has decreased as compared to the previous year and the company’s net loss has almost doubled.[BANNER]
