Whether you’re bullish or bearish, you likely have strong convictions for your market outlook.

The most popular reason for market optimism seems to center on the improving US economy, which is being buttressed by some surprisingly strong jobs numbers as of late. Then couple that with the fact that none of the most bearish doom and gloom scenarios surrounding Europe have even come close to playing out, and you have a market that has been on an upswing since early Oct. (this week notwithstanding), and looks like it still has more room to go.

But, for every bullish case, there’s a bearish case as well, and vice versa.

At the moment, I subscribe to the bullish scenario. But, of course, I’m not married to this belief. And I would definitely change my mind if one of a few things happened.

But I’m more interested in what would change YOUR mind from your current market outlook. It has been fascinating reading the comments from our customers in this forum. Some have been extremely thought provoking and insightful. And it has been a benefit to all. So let us know:

1) is your current outlook bullish or bearish?

2) what would cause you to change your mind and adopt the opposite outlook?

I hope to assemble the results of what percentage are bullish vs. bearish, and then summarize the reasons for outlook reversals by at the day’s end.

(I’ll post my ‘mind changer’ reason(s) later in the day once the conversation gets started.)

So let’s hear it. The polls are open.
