Nothing else seems to be working for former Louisiana Governor Buddy Roemer, so he thought some anti-China rhetoric might get him some press coverage. I guess it worked, at least as far as CNN is concerned: Calling China a “bear” that eats American jobs with unfair trade policies as its fork, presidential candidate Buddy Roemer made his jobs speech Thursday in front of a location he called the “bear’s den” – the Chinese Embassy. Using the embassy as a backdrop like that might be good optics, but it’s insufferably rude. That’s a diplomatic building, sovereign territory…
