When we look at the long term chart of WMT (Wal-Mart), we can clearly see that the stock was in a strong uptrend until 2000.

However, ever since, the stock hasn’t moved AT ALL… It is still trading at the same level as it was trading at 12 years ago…

However, this might be about to change, as it seems: the price is breaking out above resistance on a monthly basis, and also the MACD is confirming this breakout

When we look at the last big rally before 2000, WMT’s share price went from about $10 to $70 in about 4 years time…

A similar move would take WMT to $410 by 2016:

When we look at the Price/Earnings ratio, we can see that Wal-Mart has never been cheaper in AT LEAST the last 22 years.


When we look at the Price/Sales ratio, we can see that Wal-Mart has never been cheaper in AT LEAST the last 22 years.

When we look at the Price/Book ratio, we can see that Wal-Mart has never been cheaper in AT LEAST the last 22 years.

Wal-Mart currently pays the highest dividend yield of at least the last 22 years…
