NZD/USD Fundamental Analysis February 13 , 2012, Forecast

Analysis and Recommendation: (Close of the Asian session )

NZD/USD held near a five-month high against the greenback as Greek leaders finally agreed measures to secure a new rescue package and avoid defaulting on debt.

The New Zealand dollar was little changed at 83.43 at the opening this morning but the dollar seemed to add strength throught the Asian session pushed the pair down to end the day at 83.00. There is a balancing act going on at this point between the USD and the Euro which is affecting all theUSD trading partners.

It’s 1 per cent solution and 99 per cent implementation – it’s still a long road to go which leaves the New Zealand dollar directionless in terms of the Greek headlines but there is still an underlying demand for the kiwi.
