Pro-Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (OTC:PRWP) started the up move again. Yesterday, PRWP added 9.38% to its market price and its PRWP_chart1.pngvolume increased by 483 thousand shares traded.

Apparently, there must be some reason that activated the stock to start the climb.

The most reasonable explanation for the gain appeared to be the latest news about Pro-Pharmaceuticals. Yesterday, the company announced it was chosen to receive $489 thousand in federal grants for its Galectin-Targeting Cancer and Liver Fibrosis compounds. Mr. James Czirr, Executive Chairman and co-founder of Pro-Pharmaceuticals, claimed he was optimistic about accelerating the company’s pre-clinical trials and its new drug application.

Though the trials are not yet released, it seems that the news encouraged investors and PRWP share price rose up immediately.[BANNER]
