Singapore Exchange reported strong trading growth in its securities and commodities markets in March 2010. Total securities trading value was up 48% year-on-year (yoy) to $30.4 billion. Overall volume dipped 2% due to muted volatility in the derivatives and commodities market but trading of equity index options more than doubled to 28,699 contracts yoy
