Analysis and Recommendations:

The USD/CAD is trading at 1.0260 seeing the USD add a few pips in this morning’s trading session.

The CAD has traded in a tight range since the US close and is entering the NA session, having lost 0.1%. There are only Teranet’s home prices on the domestic data front, leaving CAD most likely to follow broader trends.

Markets are expected to remain calm and react only to news flow from the EU.

The US durable goods data was released today, with core goods coming in under expectations but overall durable goods well over expectations, the view is positive.
