Analysis and Recommendations:
The USD/CHF trading at 0.9205 up from the opening of 0.9166. The Swissie gained some momentum earlier in the day on the back of the German ZEW report, but the USD won the battle, even after negative data on US retail sales. The dollar maintained a push against the Franc. The markets could not shake off the negative reports from Moody’s downgrading 6 countries including Italy, Portugal and Spain.
